The Rangers mascot, Tex has become almost as popular with our young fans as some of our players. Tex loves to be asked to be part of community events but needs a little notice so that he can try to meet the many requests he gets each year.
Appearance Requests
Tex is available for schools, charitable, community and corporate events. He is not available for private events. Here is what you need to know and do to have Tex attend your event.
- Request must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the event
- You must provide Tex a private, clean and secure place to change and to store his belongings during your event
- You must provide clear, detailed driving instructions from The Aud to your event location. Maps can be faxed the the Rangers office at least 7 days before the event date.
- The Kitchener Rangers must approve all publicity for your event that includes a reference to the appearance of Tex or the Hockey Club
- Parking and Water must be provided
FEES
- Chartiable / schools / community functions are offered at: No Charge.
- Corporate functions: A charge of $30 per hour (minimum of 1 hour). A cheque in the amount owing must be submitted to the Rangers office prior to the event date.
