Guelph, ON: Anthony Nigro scored the game winning goal in shootout against the Kitchener Rangers to lead the Guelph Storm to a 2-1 win before 4,905 fans at the Sleeman Centre.

After a scoreless opening period, Brandon Buck scored to give the Storm a one goal lead at the 2:56 mark in the second. Nick Spaling leveled the score 1-1 after he beat Thomas McCollum with his 38th goal of the season.

The score remained 1-1 throughout the third and into overtime resulting in a shootout victory for the Storm.

The Rangers return to action this Friday against the Sting at 7:30 p.m.
