Windsor, ON: Matthew Bragg of the Windsor Spitfires scored the game-winning goal at the 12:01 mark in the third period of play for a 3-2 win over the Kitchener Rangers. 4,001 fans at the Windsor Arena were in attendance.

Nazem Kadri opened the scoring for the Rangers on the power play late in the first.

The Rangers took a two goal lead after Mikkel Boedker scored his 29th of the season at the 6:47 mark in the second period. Eric Wellwood got a shorthanded goal for the Spitfires midway through the second to make it a 2-1 game. Rob Kwiet tied the game 2-2 with his fifth goal of the season at the 15:24 mark in the second.

The third period saw a lone goal by Matthew Bragg at the 12:01 mark to give Windsor a 3-2 win.

The Rangers Josh Unice turned aside 33 of 36 goals this afternoon. Spitfires Andrew Engelage faced 35 shots from the Rangers.

The Rangers first round playoff game will commence this Friday, March 21st. Tickets are now on sale.
