Kitchener ON: The Kitchener Rangers skated to a 4-2 victory over the Sudbury Wolves in front of 5,967 fans at the Aud to improve their home record to 22-1-1-1.

The Rangers opened scoring on the power play when Scott Tregunna scored his 12th goal of the season. The Wolves answered back and took the lead 2-1 with two power play goals, the first at the 7:57 mark and the second at the 9:59 mark. Mike Duco scored his 25th goal of the season off a hard wrist shot to tie the game 2-2. With only 22 seconds left in the first period, Nazem Kadri made it 3-2 for the Rangers.

The Rangers took a two goal lead when Justin Azevedo scored his 30th goal of the season on a rebound at the 7:48 mark in the second period.

The third period was scoreless leaving the Rangers with a 4-2 victory.

The Kitchener Rangers return to action Friday, February 1st when they meet when Mississauga St. Michael's Majors make their only appearance of the season at 7:30 pm.
