Fan Appreciation BBQ
The Kitchener Rangers annual Fan Appreciation BBQ in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation was held on Sunday, September 2 at Waterloo Public Square from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
As in past years, fans enjoyed a BBQ lunch, met the Rangers and took part in a number of activities including inflatable games and rides with the Rangers mascots: Flip, Chuck and Tex.
The Sun Life Financial Kids In Gear program was on hand to collect equipment. Those wishing to contribute new or gently used hockey equipment may click here for drop-off locations.
Following the BBQ the Rangers hosted the Brampton Battalion at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex.
