Game Used Stick Auction

Rangers’ players took to the ice with specially designed lavender sticks on Friday, February 22, 2013 to raise awareness about cancer in our community and pay tribute to those who are dealing or who have dealt with the disease.

A set of sticks was available through a silent auction that was held during the game versus Saginaw in the Subscribers Lounge. The auction started at 6:30 p.m. through to 10-min post game. Winners were notified.

Proceeds are donated to HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre. Since 1995, people with cancer in Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge and the surrounding area have found inspiration, information, and empowerment at HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre. Their programs and services are confidential, free of charge, and open to people at all stages of treatment and their caregivers.
