KITCHENER RANGERS SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

The Kitchener Rangers Scholarship Foundation offers awards to students attending post secondary education institutions and have some nexus to Waterloo region.

In 2005, the name of the awards was changed to honour long time Rangers Education Consultant, Ivan Tennant. Since then, the award has been known as the Kitchener Rangers/ Ivan Tennant Memorial Scholarship and to date has awarded more than $ 125,000.00

The Scholarship Fund is administered through the KW Community Foundation.  

The response from the community and previous recipients has been very positive and the scholarship programme has become a part of the proud Rangers Tradition.

Applications can be obtained from the Rangers website or by contacting the Rangers office.

The annual deadline is August 10th and recipients are notified in mid September. The scholarships are paid directly to the school usually by December 31st.

Application Process for 2013 Scholarships:

Applicants are restricted to one award.
Applicants must be a graduate of a Waterloo Region High School.
Completed applications must be submitted no later than August 10th for the 2013-14 academic year.
Awards will be announced by late September - early October.
