Acquired by the Kitchener Rangers in the 5th round of the 2011 OHL Priority Selection.
Sterk combines an energetic style of play with a high level of hockey sense. He is a tireless worker who plays hard on the puck and has shown an ability to score.
An excellent skater, Sterk can use his speed as an asset both offensively and defensively.
